2017 Austrans Victorian Country Series

The Austrans Victorian Country Series is back again bigger than ever over 6 Rounds for 2017.

Round 1 – Ballarat Kart Club – February 5th
Round 2 – South West Kart Club – April 23rd
Round 3 – Wimmera Kart Club – May 21st
Round 4 – Portland Kart Club – July 16th
Round 5 – Hamilton Kart Club – September 10th
Round 6 – Warrnambool Kart Club – October 14/15th

Some of the key 2017 info for the series (from Victorian Country Series Facebook)
– Same approx distance (Heats of approx 8.5km, final of approx 13km)
– Same race format (Qual, 2 heats, final, progressive grids)
– Same classes as per 2016

Mandatory KA classes:
Cadet 9, Cadet 12
KA4 Junior Light, KA3 Junior,
KA3 Senior Light, KA3 Senior Medium
TAG Light, TAG Heavy

Discretionary classes:
KA4 Junior Heavy, KA3 Masters, TAG Restricted Light, TAG Restricted Medium, TAG Restricted Heavy, TAG Restricted Masters
– Discretionary classes must have a minimum 8 entries at the first round to be offered for the series.
– Classes may be combined (As per KA rules ch1 rule9) to allow for more track time for all competitors

Entry changes:
— Online payment via Securepay is now required for all pre-entries (As for all events in 2017)
— Entry fee $75 (Small increase to cover cost of Securepay)
— Late entry fee on Saturday $90
— Second family entry discount will still be applicable, and may be refunded if not possible via Securepay

Prizes:

– “Kerbrider” of the day prize drawn at each VCS round for great driving in Cadets, Juniors and Seniors. (As voted by the stewards)
