5 drivers from Victorian Clubs claim Australian Karting Championships

It was a great result for our local drivers in this years 2018 SP Tools Australian Kart Championship with 5 Victorian based drivers being crowned national champions!

Look for the new green and gold number #1 plates to be worn by:
Cadet 9 driver Lewis Francis (from the Go Kart Club of Victoria / Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club)
Cadet 12 driver Harry Arnett (from the Bendigo Kart Club)
KA2 driver Kai Allen (from the Portland District Karting Club)
KA3 Senior driver Matthew McLean (from The Geelong Kart Club)
KZ2 driver Aaron Cameron (from the Go-Kart Club of Victoria)

Congratulations to Cadet 9 driver Lewis Francis (from the Go Kart Club of Victoria / Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club) who became the 2018 Cadet 9 Australian National Karting Champion at the weekend. Lewis adds a National Title to his multiple State Championships in the Cadet 9 class. Congratulations to Lewis and his team!

 

Congratulations to Cadet 12 driver Harry Arnett (from the Bendigo Kart Club) who is the 2018 Cadet 12 Australian National Karting Champion! This is Harry’s 2nd National championship victory in as many seasons after claiming last years Rotax Micro Max championship. Congratulations to Harry and his team!

Congratulations to KA2 driver Kai Allen (from the Portland & District Kart Club) who is the 2018 KA2 Australian National Karting Champion! This is Kai’s 2nd National championship after his Cadet 12 title in 2016. Congratulations to Kai and his team!

 

Congratulations to KA3 Senior driver Matthew McLean (from the Geelong Kart Club) who earlier this month became the 2018 KA3 Senior Australian National Karting Champion! Matthew has added another National championship to his already impressive resume of state and national championship. Congratulations to Matthew and his team!

 

Congratulations to KZ2 driver Aaron Cameron (from the Go-Kart Club of Victoria) who earlier this month became the 2018 KZ2 Australian National Karting Champion! Congratulations to Aaron and his team! Keep an eye out Aaron who has also been racing in other categories of racing recently including the Supercars support category the Toyota 86 series and also competed in the international race meeting 24hours of Barcelona earlier this month.
