Well done Joe - a top 10 finish looks like a solid result in bad conditions.

Overall been a pretty positive couple of days for Joe, was well in the top 5 in both wet and dry conditions on Friday, was 3-4 quickest in qualy until the last lap he got bulked and ended up 10th, nothing in it. Couple of top 10 finishes in the heats and a DNF. Driver and kart doing a awesome job he has got some really good pace. Going to be wet for Sunday !!

They be going wet I think.

Unfortunately July club day will not go ahead.

With 11 entries spread thin over a few classes there were only 1-3 in each class.

If there is anything we can do to encourage our membership to pre-enter and attend the August club day we are all ears.

About The Ballarat Kart Club

Ballarat Kart Club – Haddon Park Raceway

Long established Ballarat Kart Club has been racing at the current site since the 1960s.

The track is located at Haddon, approximately 15km west of Ballarat.

From central Ballarat, follow Latrobe St out along Carngham Rd. Turn left into Sago Hill Rd and at the Haddon roundabout take the Racecourse Rd exit. The Track is located about 300m further along.

In addition to monthly club race days, two open race meetings are held annually by the club.

These are named The Begonia City Titles and the Mort Page Memorial, in honour of the many years of service given to the club by the late Mr. Mort Page. Nowadays these events are often incorporated into rounds of the popular Victorian Country Series.

In December 2008 Ballarat Kart Club hosted the VKA Victorian Closed Kart Titles which was a very successful event.

The track is available for use by members from 9am – 6pm daily, except Tuesdays when the track is closed.
