We have 2 sprocket holders to give away, 1 each for 2 lucky people.
Although Covid has us in lock down our club is still very active and wanting to keep every ones enthusiasm of karting alive.

To be able to win just.
*Like our facebook page
*Comment on your what corner number of our track is your favourite.

The winner will be drawn at random on the 5th of September. We will only post out to residents in Victoria.

Tag your mates and get them to do it for a chance as well.

Hopefully we will all be back racing soon enough.

I would have to say the woodshed corner, it was great in the clubman days, a quick pat on the air box on entry and hold it flat and you would punch out the side

Definitely the kink at the top of the straight. Fastest part of the track!’

4 and 5 combination for me. Left and right combo

The double Left in front of the grid is a pretty cool drift in the wet πŸ‘Œ

Woolshed in reverse direction, specially in a twin

Right hander at the infield, relies on set up, gearing, technique to get through there quickly.

The right then left at pit exit. There's a lot of time to be made there.

Most looking forward to the right hander into the gate and burger from the Haddon shop... but wool shed for me.

First corner for me, pushing the braking each lap as the track drys going downhill is so much fun!

The parking spot on the second left hander in front of the pits is pretty good Ben Findlay

The long left at the pit exit, big 🎾’s when there on the limit through there.

Mitchell Sutej turn 1. Good slide jobs in the wet on slicks πŸ˜„

First corner.

Coming in to turn 1 off the start

Top left - full noise corner 🏁🏁

Kink on the straight...flows momentum for the entire lap

Corner number 1 great for overtaking

Corner number 1 because you can go deep under brakes

Turn One, the site of my biggest stuff up in a Country series round. So good when you get it right.

Club Update.
Dear members and friends. The Ballarat kart club committee have carefully considered the current Covid conditions in our area, and KV Supp Regs available to us for running practice events at the Haddon track.

We will be keeping the track closed until further notice, and will review this decision pending the local and state conditions at the end of this month.

We understand this may be disappointing to some of our members, but have the best interest of our club and members and local community in mind.

We will take this opportunity to actively work behind the scenes so we are better than ever upon our return.
Thank you for your understanding.
Mal Mason.

As much as we would like to come and race it is totally understandable. Stay safe all so we can get back to all racing soon.

Its been a very productive few days, and a huge thanks goes out to everyone who took part. πŸš§πŸšœβš’β›

We've replaced kerbs, sealed cracks, mowed lawns and made some big improvements to our drainage.

We will be having another working bee next Saturday 8 August to clear up the remaining debris and back fill the kerbs so the track can re-open
And we'll keep an eye on the weather for when to paint them.

About The Ballarat Kart Club

Ballarat Kart Club – Haddon Park Raceway

Long established Ballarat Kart Club has been racing at the current site since the 1960s.

The track is located at Haddon, approximately 15km west of Ballarat.

From central Ballarat, follow Latrobe St out along Carngham Rd. Turn left into Sago Hill Rd and at the Haddon roundabout take the Racecourse Rd exit. The Track is located about 300m further along.

In addition to monthly club race days, two open race meetings are held annually by the club.

These are named The Begonia City Titles and the Mort Page Memorial, in honour of the many years of service given to the club by the late Mr. Mort Page. Nowadays these events are often incorporated into rounds of the popular Victorian Country Series.

In December 2008 Ballarat Kart Club hosted the VKA Victorian Closed Kart Titles which was a very successful event.

The track is available for use by members from 9am – 6pm daily, except Tuesdays when the track is closed.
