REGISTRATIONS CLOSE TODAY!!! Friday January 17th for the Officials Training event.

Officials are a backbone of our great sport and with out them we can't go racing! If you know of anyone that is interested please encourage them to do some training as the more officials we have the easier it is to spread the load on all officials throughout the calendar year.

If you haven't registered your details please visit www.kartingvic.net.au/2020-karting-victoria-officials-registration-training-days/ and click the link to the online registration form to submit your details or contact the Karting Victoria office to secure your spot!

Ballarat Kart Club

Another year is nearly over as we celebrate Christmas for 2019. To all our members, friends and all that have supported the Ballarat kart club this year, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Please stay safe on your holidays so we see you all again in 2020.

For 2020 the planning has already begun for improvements and events as our committee are very keen to keep the momentum going. We have also seen quite a few new members out at the track having a test run following our come and try day. Please if any new members would like to get out to the track and could use good advice and help with set up or driving tips, please let us know as we have plenty of members happy to help.

Finished up 4th as well. First race in KA3 as well and was a great result to finish on for 2019. (62 laps in 1 hour with 2, 5 minute compulsory pit stops included)

Go 4SS Cadet! Get the class going and others will follow, just as fast as MiniRok but half the price and no rebuilds

Yup got 2! What class?

Jason Fewins

There were 4 cadet karts at MKC including 2 reedspeed junior KA4s that have only both done 2 practice sessions from new. They want 3500 each for them and cost 7000 each to set up. Absolute bargain

About The Ballarat Kart Club

Ballarat Kart Club – Haddon Park Raceway

Long established Ballarat Kart Club has been racing at the current site since the 1960s.

The track is located at Haddon, approximately 15km west of Ballarat.

From central Ballarat, follow Latrobe St out along Carngham Rd. Turn left into Sago Hill Rd and at the Haddon roundabout take the Racecourse Rd exit. The Track is located about 300m further along.

In addition to monthly club race days, two open race meetings are held annually by the club.

These are named The Begonia City Titles and the Mort Page Memorial, in honour of the many years of service given to the club by the late Mr. Mort Page. Nowadays these events are often incorporated into rounds of the popular Victorian Country Series.

In December 2008 Ballarat Kart Club hosted the VKA Victorian Closed Kart Titles which was a very successful event.

The track is available for use by members from 9am – 6pm daily, except Tuesdays when the track is closed.
