Nice to see a small turnout for clubday
Great practice for some new beginners with a few sprinkles of rain (But nothing too nautical)

Good news!

We have just enough to go ahead with the September club day with a couple more expected on the day.
More are always welcome, so drag your mates along too.
We gave a few new junior and senior members that need some seat time and there will be help about if they need tips or get stuck.
The AGM will be held before racing

Better get my licence sorted this arvo then!! See ya there

Horse power was replaced with people power at the track today
Interestingly they have reported more than a few roll overs in Woolshed - something we've never seen there in a kart.

Yuille Park Community College
Our committed RACV Energy Breakthrough squad went out to the Haddon Go-kart Track and got in some wet weather training today in the HPVs. We may have been soaked through by 10am but great effort was put in by all 🚗 🏁

About The Ballarat Kart Club

Ballarat Kart Club – Haddon Park Raceway

Long established Ballarat Kart Club has been racing at the current site since the 1960s.

The track is located at Haddon, approximately 15km west of Ballarat.

From central Ballarat, follow Latrobe St out along Carngham Rd. Turn left into Sago Hill Rd and at the Haddon roundabout take the Racecourse Rd exit. The Track is located about 300m further along.

In addition to monthly club race days, two open race meetings are held annually by the club.

These are named The Begonia City Titles and the Mort Page Memorial, in honour of the many years of service given to the club by the late Mr. Mort Page. Nowadays these events are often incorporated into rounds of the popular Victorian Country Series.

In December 2008 Ballarat Kart Club hosted the VKA Victorian Closed Kart Titles which was a very successful event.

The track is available for use by members from 9am – 6pm daily, except Tuesdays when the track is closed.
