Well done to all the Ballarat karters at the Portland VCS round.

Don't forget, clubday is this weekend and we'd love to see a few karters to have some fun and help the newcomers.

Pre-entering online is the best way to throw your hat in the ring and get your class going (Particularly for juniors and cadets), but checking in with mates to see if they are competing also helps.

Well done to our Mini Max competitors Joe Fawcett and Zaiden Barry having a crack at the pro tour on the weekend.
Not much luck in the final by the looks of things - but always a top effort to race in such competitive fields.

About The Ballarat Kart Club

Ballarat Kart Club – Haddon Park Raceway

Long established Ballarat Kart Club has been racing at the current site since the 1960s.

The track is located at Haddon, approximately 15km west of Ballarat.

From central Ballarat, follow Latrobe St out along Carngham Rd. Turn left into Sago Hill Rd and at the Haddon roundabout take the Racecourse Rd exit. The Track is located about 300m further along.

In addition to monthly club race days, two open race meetings are held annually by the club.

These are named The Begonia City Titles and the Mort Page Memorial, in honour of the many years of service given to the club by the late Mr. Mort Page. Nowadays these events are often incorporated into rounds of the popular Victorian Country Series.

In December 2008 Ballarat Kart Club hosted the VKA Victorian Closed Kart Titles which was a very successful event.

The track is available for use by members from 9am – 6pm daily, except Tuesdays when the track is closed.
