Bendigo Kart Club

Awesome job by Bendigo Kart Club member Ayrton and his mates for smashing their fundraising goal for a great cause that affects too many of usToday marks 1 year since Ayrton Creagh Motorsport and I launched the #racingforpink campaign.

Together, we had the idea to raise $1000 for the McGrath Foundation and raise awareness for breast cancer.

Across the 3 months that the campaign ran for, we raised a total of $1284!

On top of raising all the money, we also took a 4 year old kart to win an Australasian Kart Championship and even got on national news!

In 2017 we've had karters come from as far and wide as NT and NZ.
As a bit of fun, we've knocked up a club points competition based on the 401 points score for the top 10 in each class

No surprise at the top - but great to see some of the small clubs punching above their weight - and a really strong presence from SA.

I see 125 light and heavy entries not great at this stage. Is there a minimum entries for a class to proceed?

Hey guys, I know it's cool/hip or whatever to enter at the last minute... only problem is we need to order trophies and get the correct number of officials to make our meeting run safely. As previously posted we have cancelled our October club day and we were hoping that a few more of our members might enter. If you intend to enter but you are still going to leave it to the last minute can you please message the page, Ali or Christie just for administrative purposes.
Ring or message your mates and rally so the classes are decent sizes

Gippsland Go Kart Club

Congratulations to Gippsland Gokart Club Members Bailey Collins and Blaine Densley who both competed at the Gold Coast Race Of Stars event with highly competitive results!!
Young Bailey Collins qualified P1 up against Australiaโ€™s best Karters, also taking out a heat win in the process. Bailey would eventually finish with a top 10 result in todayโ€™s final in wet conditions!!!

Blaine Densley had a good run in the highly competitive Kz2 class, up against former and current world champions! Blaine qualified 23rd and would finish as high as 16th position!! His final would eventually be cancelled due to the treacherous Gold Coast rain.

We also had Gippsland Member Joshua Sarton who competed at Warnambool for the final round of the Victorian Country Series. Josh Qualified 18th and finished his heats in 13th and 16th respectively after having 2 DNFโ€™s in the final 2 races.

Overall a great weekend for all members who competed and drivers should be happy with their results!!

Hi all,
Karting Vic have set the dates for officials school next year in early February
The club will be booking a bus to take us down
We are aiming to have the most people from the vic clubs this year so we can all share the load on club days - if each person is an official for one club day a year, we can run club days more often
Please message this page or email the club if you are able to attend
Thanks
Matt
