Victorian sportsman class

Non - Championship Classes are conducted in accordance with Rule 19.39.
The State Karting Council of Victoria for the conduct of this class has provided the following specifications.

Chapter 42 – Sportsman Class

42.01 Engine Specs
Yamaha KT100S (Chapter 32)
ARC Air Cooled (Chapter 31)
ARC Water Cooled (Chapter 31)

42.02. Tyres
1 No modifications permitted, tyre treatment is illegal (refer rule 23.03)
2 Dry Weather tyres Maxxis or Vega (1 set + 1 replacement tyre/meeting)
3 Wet weather tyres Dunlop WT6 (1 set + 1 replacement tyre/meeting)
No changing of tyres once commencement of competition.

42.03 Braking
Front brakes not permitted

42.04 Fuel
As per Rule 25.14

42.05 Driver Limitations
To be eligible to compete in this class, a competitor must hold minimum provisional C grade licence.

42.06 Weights
Yamaha KT100S 155kg
ARC Air cooled 155kg
ARC Water cooled 160kg

The weights to be reviewed and adjusted as required as the class develops.

42.07 Competition
First Engine: Yamaha KT100S Second to be either Yamaha KT100s (chapter 34) or ARC100 Air Cooled ( Chapter 31)
First Engine: ARC100 Air cooled Second to be either Yamaha KT100S (chapter 34) or ARC100 Air cooled (chapter 31)
First Engine: ARC100 Water Cooled Second to be ARC100 Water Cooled Only (chapter 31)
