RACE FOR GOLD in the 6 round 2018 Golden Power Series! ROUND 1 ALBURY-WODONGA SUPP REGS NOW AVAILABLE!
This years series is back bigger and better than ever and will once again be running with a single practice session, qualifying session, 4 heats and a final over 2 HUGE action packed days of kart racing with trophies awarded to the top 3 placegetters along with an award for the fastest qualifier at each Round of the series.
Overall series trophies will be presented at the season ending 2018 Karting Victoria Karters Of The Year Awards Presentation Night being held on the 8th of December.
Interstate drivers are allowed to race in the series and new drivers to the sport and welcome to compete!

ROUND 1 – Albury-Wodonga Kart Club – February 10/11
ROUND 2 – Bendigo Kart Club – March 10/11
ROUND 3 – Rochester Kart Club – May 5/6
ROUND 4 – Gippsland Kart Club – June 30/July 1
ROUND 5 – Swan Hill Kart Club – September 15/16
ROUND 6 – Eastern Lions Kart Club – November 3/4

KA4 Junior Heavy, TAG 125 Restricted Senior Light, TAG 125 Restricted Senior Medium, TAG 125 Restricted Senior Heavy, TAG 125 Masters, Victorian Masters (includes TAG 125 Restricted Masters and KA3 Masters with the following weights. Rotax (EVO): 177kg, All other engines: 172kg. Minimum of 40 years old to compete KA3 (masters)

Format Of Racing
Practice – 1 Practice session of 6 minutes will be held
Qualifying – 1 standalone Qualifying session of 6 minutes
Distances – Heat 1 (6 laps), Heat 2 (6 laps), Heat 3 (6 laps), Heat 4 (6 laps), Final 10 laps
6:30am – Gates open
7:00am – Canteen opens
All day at random – Scrutineering
8:00am – Practice commences in race order (see above)
7:00am – Entries open
8:30am – Close of entries
At conclusion of practice – Drivers briefing
At conclusion of drivers briefing – Qualifying starts
At conclusion of Qualifying – Racing starts
8:00am – Racing starts
At completion of racing – Presentations

1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies to be awarded as well as award for the fastest qualifier
