We've got a General Meeting on tomorrow night in the club rooms at 7:30PM and Club Day on Sunday.
We'd love to see a good turnout at both so please come down tomorrow and have a say in how your club runs and get those pre-entries in for Sunday as well.

It's club day again next weekend, last month pre-entries were up and we had our best numbers for the year.
Please keep it up and pre-enter for May now, let's try and keep those numbers high.

Pre-entries for Round 2 of the Metro Series close TONIGHT.
There's a $20 late entry fee on the day so don't forget to pre-enter now.

The weather is looking good and for all the mums out there where else would you rather be on your special day?
Put your feet up in the pits and let our culinary experts wine and dine you with an endless array of fried delicacies, bacon & egg rolls and hot jam doughnuts, a truly magical experience.

Think the mums need a man with a coffee van 😂🤣😂🤣 looking forward to another great day at oakleigh 🙂

To all members / volunteers we need help this weekend in the canteen on Sunday for Metro Series.
If you are able to lend a hand during the day that would be much appreciated even for an hour or two . Canteen will open from 7am so volunteers will be required from 6:30am onwards
Thank you 😊

Round 2 of the Metro Series is getting closer, get your entry in now.

Don't forget if you raced round 1 you'll go into the draw for your choice of a KA100 or X30 engine thanks to Remo Racing, also remember you will drop your worst race result from each round so if things didn't quite go to plan at Geelong you could still be in with a chance of picking up the silverware next weekend.

The track will be open all day Saturday the 11th for practice, the canteen will also be open for lunch on the day.

About The Oakleigh Go Kart Racing Club

Oakleigh kart track is situated only 25 Km from the Melbourne CBD, on the South Eastern side of the city. The club has been established for over 25 years and in that time many changes to the facility have taken place.

The club now has a circuit over 900 meters in length as well as modern up to date facilities with licenced clubrooms and seating for up to 120, as well as a fully equipped kitchen to cater for members and their guests at club events.

Combine this with other features such as track lighting for night events, 3 story starters control tower and a 2 story race control then add to this a circuit design that is both demanding on drivers skills and set-up. Oakleigh is hard circuit to master but once mastered allows the driver to gain the level of experience required for most other tracks. And judging by the number of National and State Champions that have gained their skills at Oakleigh you can see that if you master our track, you can win anywhere.

The Club is permanently expanding and has just purchased 8 Hectares of land. This will enable the club to relocate the exciting pit and car parking areas. The club is also looking at some form of undercover pitting facility for all competitors, as well as investigating the possibility of covering the Grid area. the remainder of the land will at a later stage be used for other kart related activities.

Licensed membership levels at the club have stayed relatively stable over recent years, with a peak of just over 700 in the early 90’s to a level of just over the 600 mark for the last 6 years.

At Oakleigh our membership numbers are based on licence holders , not the total number of members, which is considerably higher. Racing at the club consists of 10 Club Race days – Held on the last Sunday of every month- and 3 to 4 Open Race Meetings throughout the Year. Club Day’s attract about 200 entries with most classes being catered for.

Practice at the Club is restricted to club members only, they are issued with a key to allow them access into the track for practice any day of the week. the track is made available for Non Oakleigh members leading up to Open Race Meetings.
