LET'S GET BACK TO RACING,

BACK TO KARTING!

Reminder about acceptable use of social media policy

REMINDER TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS /LICENCE HOLDERS:
Acceptable Use of Social Media Policy/ Social Media Policy.

As Club Committee members, holders of a competition, Practice or a Participant’s licence, you are all bound by our rules, which includes those policies.

Karting Australia and our State has decided that we will no longer tolerate this sort of public disparagement and will be working hard to stamp this out.
It is easy to construe comments that are designed to offend and disparage other members of the Karting Community, it is also open to a reasonable person to find that some comments overstep the mark when it comes to our Social Media Policy and Acceptable Use of Social Media Policy.
Could all clubs please send out a message to their members that this will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will be dealt with accordingly in the way of a disciplinary tribunal.
All that we as a sport ask of our competitors and licence holders is to treat others in the sport as you yourself would like to be treated. Respect for our sport is not a difficult thing to achieve, and a little bit goes a long way.
