The first race meeting of the 2020 Victorian karting calendar kicked off in style at the weekend with 108 junior drivers competing at the 2020 Focus On Furniture Junior Top Guns at the Oakliegh Go-Kart Racing Club on Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th January.
Finals of both days were held under lights which made for some spectacular looking racing with the results of Fridays Round 1 and Saturdays Round 2 counting toward the overall meeting champions.
With the meeting also providing trophies for the top 3 from both days and trophies to the 5 of the combined results from both days, there were plenty of smiling faces at the presentations thanks to the generosity of the meetings sponsors with various merchandise giveaways, a set of tyres randomly going to a driver in each class and 2 big prizes draws including a Mychron lap monitor and brand new Arrow kart chassis.
